A Lovely Wedding In Alnwick
At the Plough and the Lion Bridge
Getting married in COVID times
Donna and Andrew decided to go ahead with their wedding under current COVID restrictions. Adhering to safety measures didn’t stop them, their children, family and friends from having a wonderful day.
After the ceremony, whilst the staff at The Plough were preparing the room for the Wedding Breakfast, I managed to take the Newlyweds for a stroll on the famous Lion Bridge in Alnwick. Although a summer day, Northumberland was in an autumnal mood! Just as we were capturing the final images, a mild rain started falling gently on us!
The Ceremony, Speeches, Wedding Breakfast, First Dance (not followed by any others as per current guidelines), and Cake Cutting all went smoothly and safely. Everyone had a great time!
Below are some more photos to give you a flavour of Donna and Andrew’s day. You may access the complete gallery here but you’ll need the password from the happy couple!
Regarding COVID
Introducing a supportive COVID clause in your wedding photography contract.
In these times of great uncertainty, I’ve introduced a clause waving cancellation fees in the event that your wedding cannot go ahead because of COVID at the planned date.
Clients and my safety under COVID
Working with my and my client’s safety in mind, I adhere to all guidelines concerning event photography. In this case, I wore a face mask at all times and sanitized regularly throughout the day.
